'PIE CHANNEL' LAUNCHES PINOY GAMES AND TALENT VIA NEW SHOWS

 

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino games and talent will take the spotlight as PIE (Pinoy Interactive and Entertainment) Channel launches new programs for its PIENALO PINOY GAMES, PIEGALINGAN, and PAK PALONG FOLLOW program blocks. 

 

Certified fun Pinoy games where viewers nationwide can join in virtually and win up to 50,000 daily, will take center stage in PIENALO PINOY GAMES. From Monday until Friday, there’s “Matching Matching” (7 pm – 8 pm), a matching card game inspired by ungguy-ungguyan and “Dagdag Bawas” (6 pm – 7 pm), an interactive game that involves estimation as Filipinos are naturally good at being ‘tantyadors.’

QUEZON City District 1 (QCD1) Representative Arjo Atayde took his oath as a member of Nacionalista Party (NP) as he was recently sworn in by House Senior Deputy Majority Leader, NP member, and Ilocos Norte District 1 Representative Sandro Marcos.

Historically, NP is the oldest political party both in the Philippines and Southeast Asia and was the dominant political party during the administrations of Presidents Manuel L. Quezon and Sergio Osmeña (1935 to 1946), Presidents Ramon Magsaysay and Carlos P. Garcia (1953 to 1961), and President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. (1965 to 1972).

‘On the Job’ Nominated for Best TV Movie/Mini Series in '2022 International Emmy Award'

MANILA, Philippines – Critically acclaimed series “On the Job,” co-produced by Reality MM Studios, Globe Studios (now known as ANIMA), and HBO Asia, has been nominated for Best TV Movie/Mini Series in this year’s International Emmy Awards. 

“On The Job: The Series,” adapted from the 2013 full-length film of the same name and its sequel “On the Job: The Missing 8” is in the running against three other nominees: “Help” (United Kingdom), “Il Est Elle” (France), and "La Historia Íntima De La Escritora Isabel Allende" (Chile). 

“We are very proud of this nomination for ‘On the Job,’ which is a testament to world-class Filipino talent. To be shortlisted among four nominees is, in itself, a huge honor. Through ANIMA, we hope to bring more films and other content to the global stage,” said KROMA CEO Ian Monsod. 

“Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this. It is surprising and impressive at the same time to be recognized amongst everything that was produced in the past year,” said director Erik Matti.

“The TV Movie/Mini-series category is one of the most difficult categories to be nominated in.
